Getting started
-
Currently, only organizations that have received an invite to activate will be able to follow the self-serve model. It is possible that an organization will discover Kiip that has not been explicitly invited to the program. If you are trying to activate your organization but do not find the program, please contact support to have the program added to Kiip.
-
As organizations activate their Kiip accounts, they may notice some inaccuracies in the program information . Please be aware that programs activated through Kiip cannot currently update their information directly on our platform. During the activation flow, a program admin may click ‘No’ before activating if they do not recognize the program. They may also contact support after activating if they want to make a change.
-
Organization admins can add new team members directly to their programs on Kiip to help manage clients. If they have trouble doing this themselves, or if a team member needs to be added when an admin is unavailable, they can contact support
-
Check your junk or promotions folder in your email for the invite.
If it’s not there, ask the program supervisor to resend the invite. They can do this by going to ‘Overview’ > ‘Organization Settings’, finding the staff members name, and resending the invite.

Working with Clients

Troubleshooting Steps:
Double-check the email address to ensure that the invitation was sent to the correct person.
Ask the client to check their spam or junk folder to see if the invite was mistakenly filtered there.
Navigate to the client’s room by clicking on their name in the client directory. In the top right corner of the room, click on ‘Resend Invite’ to send the invitation again.
If the issue persists after following these steps, please reach out to support for further assistance.Description text goes here

Kiip isn’t for everyone, but we hope that one day it will be. We’re working on adding other login options like text or voice. For now, if you can set them up with an email, they’ll only need it once. If they don’t have an email, you can still use Kiip as a client management system—just leave the email field blank when adding them.
-
Kiip offers a simple password reset option through email. If a client is the type of person who may not remember their email login, then we have a simple trick: When signing them up, write down their login and password and scan it into their room. That way the client’s information is always retrievable.
-
Think of Kiip like a safety deposit box in a bank. Kiip does not want to know what is in those boxes, merely provide the safe place for storage. This also allows Kiip to protect the privacy of our users. If we are asked by local law enforcement or any other authority to reveal the contents of someone’s Kiip, it would not be possible.
-
No, your clients will never need a credit card to set up an account, and they won't ever be charged to use Kiip, even if they stop receiving services from your organization. Kiip provides organizations with a better way to gather information from clients, and offers this service for no or reduced cost.
-
Kiip is tailor-made for the safe storage and sharing of documents. While you can upload and store documents in any of the other platforms, they are not specifically designed for collaboration and sharing with service providers.

Referrals are built to support a variety of processes as Kiip recognizes that each organization is different.
Kiip supports sending and receiving referrals through the platform
It is not required to accept incoming referrals or have incoming referrals turned on to send referrals
When a referral is accepted or denied, the Kiip platform will update the status of that referral to match
New referrals can be viewed in the cllient directory, where they can easily be accepted or denied
Accepting a referral will open a new client room in Kiip
If a client is helped and marked as such, their referral status will be updated for the sender
If a client is referred from annother system, they should be added to Kiip to help track progress and provide a centralized repository for all related documents
